Exploring the towns of Buda and Pest


      We were fortunate to use Laura and Dan's house as a base for exploring Budapest and vicinity. We made extensive use of the local public transit system, using bus, streetcar and Metro. Here are pictures of some of the sights we were able to visit.

Fishermens Bastion(Halaszbastya)
 Seven turrets symbolizing Magyar tribes that conquered Carpathian Basin. Not really used as bastion.
